Liebe Freunde in Christus,

I am writing this letter from Edinburgh, Scotland. We are in the middle of conducting ministers' conferences throughout the U.K. - including Belfast, Northern Ireland; London and Birmingham, England; Perth, Scotland; Dublin, Ireland; and finally in Cardiff, Wales.

We have witnessed incredible miracles. Pastors are being renewed, stirred and broken in spirit by the Word of God. Young people have poured into our meetings. In London, they came streaming into a large prayer room, falling on their faces, weeping and repenting.

In London I spoke at the Parliament, House of Commons, to government and church leaders. My message was "The Exclusiveness of Christ", and it caused a great stir. The British Broadcasting Corporation picked it up, and now people from radio, magazines, and other media are calling to hear more about my insistence in claiming Christ as the only way to salvation. These callers include Jews, Muslims and people from other world religions. Satan became incensed by my message. Yet, even though my interviewers tell me not to speak in religious terms, God has caused them to ask me questions that allow me to preach this truth through every kind of media.

I am finding that everywhere we go, ministers are hungry for a new and fresh touch of God. They are weary, and many are discouraged. They are sick of the American hype-gospel coming here. The foolishness and emphasis on money and prosperity have destroyed churches and incensed the press. Before we came here, we decided to take no offerings, and we pay all our own expenses for travel, food and housing. The press and the pastors can hardly believe it. An American evangelist who has no agenda, nothing to sell, and asks for nothing? This has been a testimony to God's faithfulness. We do not boast in it, but simply give God thanks for making it possible.

My son, Gary, travels with me and is having a profound impact on ministers in every conference. We are both excited to see so many young pastors so desperate for God. They're so tired of all the hype, competition and flesh in the church today. I believe God is going to shake and awaken His church through these Holy Ghost firebrands.

I return home in a few weeks to resume my ministry efforts at Times Square Church in New York City. The church thrives under the leadership of Pastor Carter Conlon and his co-workers while I am traveling the world to minister to pastors. I receive reports of God's blessing on all of our charitable ministries. More widows and fatherless children are being housed and helped. Our homes for addicted and abused mothers and their children are being marvelously blessed by God. Every outreach, every ministry to the needy is being blessed!
