GRACE AND PEACE TO YOU FROM OUR FATHER AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!
We are very excited about the many "home churches" being formed. A home church can be your own family or a gathering of a few friends and neighbors who hunger for truth. A home church is suitable only for those who are not attending a spiritual, soul-satisfying church. I have always believed in faithfulness to any pastor and church where Christ is exalted and the people are fed by a true gospel. What I am suggesting is a home church only for those who cannot find such a church as I've described in their area.
We are hearing from many all across the nation who want to be a part of Times Square Church home meetings. We supply a sing-along worship tape, a Times Square Church choir presentation and a message (either audio or video tape). This is a complete one-and-a-half-hour worship and preaching service.
This is not a fund-raising gimmick; we are providing all these taped programs at minimal costs. After hearing from many readers telling us they could not find a good church, we prayed and asked the Lord what we could do to help. Now you can enjoy a Times Square Church service in your own home. You, your family and your like-minded friends can sing along with us, enjoy the choir, and hear the same message our New York City congregation hears each Sunday.
Remember, if you now attend a good Spirit-led church, that is where you belong. If you want to add a home church once a week to your regular church attendance - join us. Then lead those in your home group to your "good" church. For those who are interested in starting a home church, simply write and tell us you want information about how to start. Even if you are all alone, you can have a weekly meeting by yourself. We will send you all the details.
Also, I am contemplating writing a book about THE APOSTATIZING OF THE CHURCH. If you attend or once attended a church that has apostatized, I would love to hear your story in a letter - possibly to include portions in my book. Certainly, many churches are becoming totally apostate. And our readers are a valuable source to us about many of these tragic situations.
I thank God for all the wonderful spiritual churches and God-fearing, uncompromising pastors. They need our prayers and support, and our tithe.
